Artist's Statement
I've never really been much of an artist in an aspect of drawing or painting, but I really enjoy taking pictures! I never thought that photography cold be considered art until I got to high school and realized that photography counted as an art credit. as cheesey as that sounds I really had no idea. my favorite part of photography isn't taking the picture but seeing how it turns out, and seeing how many different ways you can edit it and make it look cool!
when I was younger I remember my mom always taking pictures of me and that's really the first time my interest in taking pictures picked up.
As I get older I realize how many different roles taking pictures can play in my life. not only is something that I like to do it is something that can preserve memories so you can look and remember that memory any time that you want.
To me taking pictures is an escape. it is something that I enjoy doing and I'm not forced to do it. I can do it on my own time and when ever I feel like it. No. I don't carry a round a huge camera all the time. I have a smart phone that enables me to take pictures where ever I am and no matter what time. I love using my phone for pictures because I can edit them and send them and do anything to it on my phone that I could do on a computer.
Some of my favorite pictures are the pictures that I took in my back yard! they are simple but but like they say "a picture is worth a thousand words."
